Feedback

Readers can rate published content and leave a comment, or share feedback about the installation as a whole. Contributors and Administrators review these responses in Fieldbook and can export the current selection.

Give feedback on content

Docs and Updates offer Did you find this useful? after the article. Course feedback appears after you complete the course. Feedback is optional and does not affect completion.

  1. Select Useful or Not useful. Your content rating saves immediately.
  2. Optionally describe what helped or what needs attention. The comment field allows up to 2,000 characters.
  3. Select Send to save the comment.

Signed-in feedback is associated with your account. On public installations, guests can also give feedback and appear to publishers as Guest visitor. Do not treat feedback as a confidential or anonymous reporting channel.

Give general feedback

For something about Fieldbook as a whole, open Account menu → Feedback. Choose Useful or Not useful, add an optional comment, and select Send.

Use this for issues such as confusing navigation or a recurring difficulty that is not tied to one article. General feedback is reviewed alongside content feedback, under General.

Feedback stays with the installation where you submit it. It is not automatically sent to the Fieldbook software project. The fieldbook does not provide a conversation thread, a promised response time, or a support ticket status. Users should use their organization’s stated support contact when you need a reply or urgent help.

Review responses — Contributors and Administrators

Open Manage content or Manage organization, then Feedback.

Use the controls to focus the list:

ControlSelection
Content typeDocs, Updates, Courses, General
Feedback ratingUseful or Not useful
Content itemOne article or course
Search feedbackTitle or comment text
Sort feedbackNewest or oldest first

The summary reflects the current selection. Each response shows its comment, rating, person label, date, and content version when applicable. View all feedback for this item narrows the list to that item; it does not open the content editor.

The feedback list does not offer an in-app reply or resolved-state workflow. Decide how your organization will track follow-up outside the list when a response requires more than a content correction.

Export the selected feedback

Set the filters and sort order, then select Export CSV. The export includes the selected responses, with content, type, version, person label, rating, comment, and update time.

Comments and account names may contain personal information. Share the export only with people who need it to review or maintain the installation.
