Browse Courses
Open Courses. The home page has For you at the top and the full course library below it.
For you
For you shows unfinished learning selected for you. A course may appear on its own or inside a curriculum card. The summary shows how many assigned courses you’ve completed and offers Start course or Continue course for the next one. Courses you choose from the library do not change that assigned-course count.
If your installation uses due dates, an unfinished assigned course card shows Due in X days, Due today, or Due X days ago. An overdue card also shows Past due. Completed courses do not show a due-date label. When due dates are turned off, Fieldbook uses Recommended instead of Assigned; public guests see recommendations rather than account assignments.
Select View all for you to see assigned learning beyond the unfinished cards on the home page. See Course assignments and Due dates for how those selections and dates are set.
Full library
All courses, below For you, contains the published course collection, grouped by category, with curricula shown separately. You can open any published course whether or not it was assigned to you. Use Find a course, Category, and Sort courses to narrow or order the library.
Use View all for you
View all for you opens the course views with Assigned selected. Unlike the home page’s For you row, this view includes completed assignments. Turn on Hide completed if you only want to see unfinished ones.
Use Course views to switch between:
- Your courses: Every course assigned to you, plus other courses you’ve started or completed.
- Assigned: All your assigned learning, including completed courses. This view is called Recommended when due dates are off.
- In progress: Courses you’ve started but haven’t completed, whether assigned or chosen from the library.
- Completed: Every course you’ve completed.
- All courses: The full published library, including courses you haven’t started.
Within a view, use Find a course to search and Category to filter. Sort courses offers choices that fit the view, such as title, assignment date, due date, or last update. Assigned learning starts with the earliest due date when due dates are enabled; All courses starts with the most recently updated courses.
Complete the lessons
- Open a course and read the lesson. Use any media or linked material you need.
- Select Next lesson to save that lesson as complete and continue.
- After the final lesson, continue to Quiz or Finish course.
Use the outline to revisit a lesson. Opening it, scrolling through it, or watching its video does not mark it complete; use the continuation control. When you reopen an unfinished course, Fieldbook normally takes you to the next unfinished lesson. A link to a particular lesson opens that lesson directly.
Take the quiz or finish the course
If the course has a quiz, complete every lesson before submitting it. Select one answer or Select all that apply for each question, then choose Submit and continue. On the last question, choose Submit and see results.
The quiz tells you whether you must answer every question correctly. If passing is not required, submitting answers to every question completes the quiz. If all answers must be correct, review your results and select Retry quiz as needed. For a question with several correct answers, select all of them and no incorrect answers.
If Fieldbook offers Finish course after showing results, select it to save completion. For a course without a quiz, select Finish course after the last lesson. If lessons remain, return to them through Review lessons or the outline. Look for Course complete before leaving.
Keep your progress
When you’re signed in, Fieldbook saves completed lessons, quiz attempts, and course completion to your account. Use the same account to continue from another browser or device. If saving fails, retry the action and wait for confirmation.
When an installation allows guest browsing, guest progress stays in the current browser. To save it to an account, sign in from that browser and select Save browser progress to my account when prompted. Wait for the page to refresh, then check Courses. Not now dismisses the prompt without importing. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, or switching devices can make guest progress unavailable.
When a course changes
A new course version has its own progress and completion requirements. Completing an earlier version does not complete the new one. If Fieldbook asks you to reload because a course changed while you were taking it, reload before continuing.
After completing a course, you can leave Reader feedback.
